From opposite sides of the world, The SA Group and Air Works India found common ground, and since 2010 the two companies have been united in the joint venture partnership SA Air Works (SAW)—delivering strong results in the Indian market.

Located in Gurgaon, India, SAW serves the Indian market as well as nearby regions including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and the Maldives. The partnership combines and leverages the strengths, capabilities, and expertise of both organizations, extending the turn-key offerings of The SA Group to the entire region.

The SA Group and Air Works India bring strong and extensive backgrounds within the aviation industry, and utilizing the avionics competences of The SA Group, combined with market presence, MRO competence and aviation expertise of Air Works India, SAW was formed on a solid foundation.

Today, SAW supports India and the surrounding region with aircraft modification programs, MRO services, logistics support, engineering and design services, and sales of avionics equipment.

In addition, SAW provides MRO services for galley equipment, complementing its broad avionics MRO capabilities. This service primarily supports the many airline customers operating at New Delhi International Airport.

In addition to SAW’s well-established capabilities in the Indian market, the company holds a strong position as a key OEM partner and representative for several avionics manufacturers.

Through these partnerships, SAW acts as a primary support organization for avionics OEMs in the region, strengthening its position as a trusted partner for airlines, general aviation operators and military across the Indian market.

Design & Engineering

Our highly experienced designers & engineers are qualified to design and develop solutions ranging from FAR 23, FAR 25, FAR 27 to FAR 29 covering a wide variety of aircraft – Fixed & Rotary - in both Civil & Military segment. This positions us in a unique way in South Asia, as we could offer Design Solutions based on CAR 21, EASA 21 & CEMILAC.

Integration & Installation

SA Air Works is a leading avionics system integrator for cockpit and cabin modifications having successfully performed several such upgrades in India & abroad for both fixed and rotary aircraft of Civil and Defense customers for various platforms such as King Air B200, C90, B300, Twin Otter, Mi-17, Do-228, Hawker 800, Falcon 2000, Cessna Citation 525A CJ2 and many more.

Component MRO

SA Air Works is a DGCA CAR-145 approved facility as well as an Authorized Service Center (ASC) for a variety of components. At the same time, we continue to invest towards enhancing the capability of our repair services

Part Supply & Subscription

SAW is an approved authorized partner to leading avionics manufactures and SA Air Works offers supply of equipment and its subscription. Further, SAW offers units on rental or exchange basis to shorten or even avoid AOG situations.
