NEO Avionics S.R.O. has been part of The SA Group family since 2025. Based in the Czech Republic, we specialize in avionics integration, upgrades, and modernisation for General Aviation and helicopters.

Transforming Aircraft – and Unlocking New Potential
If you ask us, every aircraft has plenty of potential waiting to be uncovered. At NEO Avionics, we have completed numerous avionics projects, ranging from small system integrations to full cockpit transformations.
Every project is unique – and if we could highlight them all, we would. We have performed modernisations on aircraft and helicopters of all sizes – from single-engine trainers to complex rotorcraft. Here are a few major transformations which reflect our commitment to safety and innovation:
- Aviat Aircraft A-1A: We performed a full modernisation that transformed legacy analogue instruments into a fully digital glass cockpit. The modernisation included advanced navigation, communication, and engine monitoring system which elevated the aircraft’s avionics by decades. This integration greatly enhanced situational awareness, aircraft reliability, and pilot confidence.
- SOCATA TB-9: This job involved a complete avionics refit which replaced outdated systems with a state-of-the-art digital instrument panel. We installed an advanced GPS navigation system, ADS-B surveillance, and a modern communications system in the aircraft. The refit significantly improved operational capabilities and pilot experience.

A complete avionics transformation!
With the extensive and professional general aviation competencies of NEO Avionics, we have undergone upgrades on a number of interesting projects.
From the portfolio of projects, is a full transformation of a Commander that went through a major modernization. What came from an old, non-functional analog navigation system, transformed into a modern glass cockpit following the newest technology.
The cockpit upgrade included high quality avionics, but also went far beyound that:
- Brand new instrument panel -and bottom panel with laser-engraved labels
- Moderns switches
- Complete Whelen LED navigation lighting
- Dual Garmin G3X Touch Displays
- Dual GTN navigators
- GFC 500 autopilot
- EIS engine monitoring
- ADS-B In/Out
- FLARM collision-avoidance system
An upgrade with high quality and a result with several pros, like full redundancy, improved situational awareness, increased safety, greater reliability and very high level of comfort.
Czech Contributions within General Aviation
In 2025, NEO Avionics became part of The SA Group – playing a pivotal role in broadening the group’s presence in the European market, especially in relation to the general aviation sector and private aircraft owners. Previously, this customer segment was not fully addressed within the group’s existing capabilities.
While our core expertise revolves around General Aviation, we also support a selection of business and commercial aviation operators, supporting the expansion of the group’s presence to new audiences.
