To ease the operation of certain customer applications and to simplify certification aspects, particularly for the stringent aviation industry, The SA Group provides in-house development of intelligent, cost-effective and customized avionics and electronics concepts.
Together with our customers our R&D department designs and develops tailored products to meet specific demands or niche applications within the electronics field. We engage ourselves in the initial phases of a development program, to make sure the specification is covering the specific requirements of the product, while accounting for the strict compliance and regulatory requirements within the aviation industry. .
Staffed by highly experienced engineers, our product development division benefits highly from our extensive expertise within operation, production, installation and certification aspects. This cross-functional insight within our group enables us to identify and minimize potential challenges early in the development process—reducing risk, time, and overall certification complexity and cost.

Product Development is the first step of the product lifecycle
Once a product has reached a maturity level for serial production, The SA Group got you covered. The serial production of the products we develop are performed and delivered from our EASA Part 21G production facility (POA), with relevant airworthiness documentation (CoC / EASA Form-1). Our POA secures that all production processes are documented and complete traceability are obtained according to the stringent aviation requirements, making our production services compliant and relevant for basically any industry. No matter the quality standards we adhere to in our development and production departments, products sometimes cave under the harsh operational environments they are subjected to. Do not worry though, our EASA Part 145 component workshop obtains repair capability on the products we develop and manufacture, securing that the products can be repaired in a controlled environment, and returned to service with relevant airworthiness documentation (CoC / EASA Form-1).
