Representing most of the global avionics manufacturers secures that we are always building the optimum solution for the customer, considering capabilities, safety, aircraft downtime, operational advantages, risk and sustainability, without being limited to certain equipment types or political interests. We engineer the solution focused on the operators needs.
Our design and engineering capability is the heart and mind of the organization, feeding our own and third-party certification programs with concepts that ensures ease of production, installation and operational excellence once applied to an aircraft or helicopter, solving a real mission in a demanding environment.

Design and Engineering – AND certification
Certification is key when altering an aircraft or helicopter, and at The SA Group we have been providing certification services since the beginning. The core of our certification capability is our EASA Part 21J approved design organization (DOA), Scandinavian Avionics Design (SA Design), where we have been delivering EASA approved services since 2004. SA Design also holds the EMAR 21J approval under the Danish Military Airworthiness Regime, allowing us to develop and approve certification packages for governmental registered aircraft. Even though our design approvals are EASA / EMAR centric, our certification programs are approved for a wide range of other regulatory frameworks, such as the FAA (America), DGCA (India), ANAC (Brazil), GACA (Saudi Arabia), and JCAB (Japan).
The scope of our design approval covers any avionics and electrical modifications for both fixed-wing aircraft as well as helicopters, including the structural modifications required, supporting civil and governmental applications worldwide.
